What is a military crashpad?
A crashpad is fully furnished off-base lodging built around military travel: priced at or below the government lodging (per diem) rate, flexible to orders changes, and documented with itemized receipts for your travel voucher. Instead of months in a hotel room, you get a real home near the base — kitchen, laundry, workspace, and parking included.
How does pricing work?
Stays are priced at or below the government lodging rate for the local area. You pay for lodging, submit our itemized receipts with your DTS voucher, and get reimbursed — for a typical TDY, that means zero out-of-pocket lodging cost.
Who can stay in a crashpad?
Active duty, Guard, and Reserve members on TDY or training orders make up most of our guests, but government civilians, contractors on official travel, and PCS-transition families are welcome too. Every branch is welcome — Air Force, Space Force, Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard.
How do I book a stay?
Send an inquiry with your base, dates, and reason for stay (B-Course, PIT, RPA, tech training, exercise — whatever your orders say). We confirm availability, match you to the right property and room, and hold it while your orders finalize. No booking fees.
