Pilot Instructor Training (PIT)

The instructor pipeline at JBSA-Randolph (T-6, T-38, T-1) that turns FAIPs and returning line pilots into IPs.

How lodging works on this pipeline

For students on TDY orders, confirm the applicable lodging allowance and government-lodging requirements. Duration alone does not trigger the former long-term flat-rate reduction. Randolph's Air Force Inns is often available for short stays and less so across a whole class.

Live on Randolph's side of San Antonio — Universal City, Live Oak, Schertz, Converse — and skip the Loop 1604 commute.
