How lodging works on this pipeline
Pipeline (non-prior-service) students live in dorms. Everyone else — retrainees, prior-service, officers at technical courses, Guard and Reserve, instructors and contractors — is where lodging gets complicated: on-base is frequently full, courses run months, and a shared house near the gate at the per diem rate is the efficient answer.
